Some moments in life ask everything of us. The moment a child enters the world, the moment someone we love begins to leave it, the quiet turning points that arrive without warning and change the shape of our lives.
At these thresholds, people often find themselves alone in ways they did not expect. Birth can become medicalised but emotionally unsupported, grief can become something people feel they must carry quietly. These moments can make us feel lost between worlds, not ill enough for clinical services, yet needing far more support than friends or family alone can offer.
As a professional, the support I provide lies where clinical psychology and doula care meet, not as separate services, but as one way of supporting a whole person. This means bringing both knowledge and presence; professional depth alongside human warmth. Both clinical work and companionship through the times when the ground beneath you shifts. I do not rush people toward answers, but instead offer something quieter and more enduring, a rooted presence while life unfolds.
